The Business Horizons Job Fair has been a successful event at Virginia Tech for 30 years. It has now expanded to the spring semester, after organizers saw an increase in businesses showing interest.
Anna Lonker, the Business Horizons Leader, says the Fall fair was sold out in 2011 and 2012, so they decided to bring in the second fair to give companies and students more opportunities.
"It is especially great for those students who didn't find an internship or job at the Fall fair," said Lonker.
The Spring fair included 90 employers, stretching around the foyer of Cassell Coliseum.
