Franklin County deputies name man, woman in murder-suicide

FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA -

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, released the name of the man and woman found shot to death on Tuesday, in the Penhook area of the county.

Investigators say 48-year-old Karen Swanson Yee and 56-year-old Kim Bryan Yee were found dead inside an SUV on Ramsey Memorial Road, near Snow Creek Road.

The sheriff's office says it's investigating the case as a murder-suicide, pending results of a forensic examination by the Medical Examiner's office of Western Virginia.
