Children's Miracle Network looking for Care for Kids radiothon volunteers

We're one week away from the annual Dick and Dave Care for Kids Radiothon and Children's Miracle Network is looking for community help.

All the money raised stays right here in this area and helps pay for equipment and care at our local children's hospitals.

In the past nine years Dick and Dave have helped raise more than a million dollars.

While the DJs ask folks to call in and give Children's Miracle Network is looking for energetic volunteers to do the reverse and to call out and raise money.

"They're actually generating and soliciting funds by texting their neighbors or family members and saying hey I'm volunteering with radiothon with Q99 is there any way you can make a difference by pledging $10 or calling a donations right now," explained Erin Hildreth, Children's Miracle Network Executive Director.

To support the Care for Kids Radiothon Friday, Saturday and Sunday Express Jet Car Wash near the Bonsack Kroger will donate 50 percent of your first class wash to Children's Miracle Network.
