A crash in Roanoke sends a 7-year-old boy to the hospital.
Roanoke City Police say just before 7:00 p.m. Saturday the boy was crossing Hershberger Road at the intersection with Ordway Drive. Police say he was with his family - when he was hit by a minivan.
Authorities say he was conscious and talking at the scene. He was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial hospital. No other details on his condition have been released.
No charges have been filed at this time. The crash is still under investigation.
