After nearly a year Bedford County now has a new county administrator.
In a news release Tuesday morning Mark Reeter was named to the position. Reeter served the same position in Washington County. He is listed as the longest serving county administrator in Washington County history.
The Bedford County position has been open since Kathleen Guzi resigned nearly a year ago. The reason for her resignation is still unclear. Guzi is now the county administrator in Botetourt County.
