WSLS App Pick of the Week: 'Low-Rx'

The latest research shows about half of all people in the U.S. are on prescription medication and most people spend an average of $46 a month.

A free App called 'Low-Rx' is our 'WSLS 10 App Pick of the Week,' to help you save money.

The App is designed to get you the most affordable deal on your prescriptions.

You can type in the prescription you need and it tells you the price difference between the brand name and the generic version of the drug.

There's also a pharmacy locator that shows where all the pharmacies are in the area, the addresses, and numbers.

You can also use the membership card on the app to get a discount of up to 75%. You just show the QR-Code on the App to the pharmacist who can then scan it.

Send your 'App Pick of the Week' ideas to Katie Love's Facebook page.
