The phones have been ringing off the hook at Q99 for Dick and Dave's annual "Care for kids radiothon".
The event raises money for the Children's Miracle Network - which pays for equipment and important services at two local children's hospitals - Carilion Children's hospital in Roanoke & Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.
The radiothon wrapped up Saturday at 6:00 p.m. Last year the radiothon collected over $146,000. But this year's event topped that - with the community donating a whopping $173,000.
