Several local teams in our area were in action this weekend in the VHSL state quarterfinal action and a good amount of them were able to move on to the semifinals in Richmond.

Here is a list of your boys and girls teams advancing to the Richmond in the VHSL state semifinal round.

 

Boys Division 1.

John I. Burton vs. Altavista. Thursday, March 7 at 1:00pm at VCU's Siegel Center.

Perry McCluer vs. West Point. Thursday, March 7 at 5:00pm at VCU's Siegel Center.

 

Boys Division 2.

Radford vs. Essex. Thursday March 7 at 7:00pm at VCU's Siegel Center.

 

 Boys Division 4.

Salem vs. Potomac Falls. Tuesday, March 5 at 9:00pm at VCU's Siegel Center.

E. C. Glass vs. Grafton. Wednesday, March 6 at 12:45pm at VCU's Siegel Center.

 

Girls Division 1.

Clintwood vs. Altavista. Thursday, March 7 at 3:00pm at VCU's Siegel Center.

 

Girls Division 2.
