Yet another Danville family is without a place to call home tonight - after a fire ripped through their house Sunday.
Fire crews were called to Glen Oak Drive around 4:00 a.m. for a house fire. The first firefighters on the scene said heavy smoke could be seen pouring out of all sides of the home. It took crews over two hours to extinguish the fire.
Thankfully no one was home at the time and no one was injured - but the home suffered major damage and cannot be lived in.
It's been several months since filming on the movie "Wish You Well" wrapped up in Giles County. Now the film's producers say they're inching closer to a release date.
