Nine Area Teams Still Alive For State Titles

   Nine area teams are still in the hunt for state basketball titles as the tournament moves to the semifinal round in Richmond.

   Here's the schedule of area teams:

  Girls: Bassett vs Courtland  Tuesday March 5th at 7pm

           Salem vs Loudoun County Wednesday March 6th at 11am

           Altavista vs Clintwood Thursday March 7th at 3pm

           Floyd Co. vs George Mason Friday March 8th at 10:30 am.

  Boys:

         Salem vs Potomac Falls Tuesday March 5th at 9 pm.

         EC Glass vs Grafton Wednesday March 6th at 12:45 pm.

         J. I . Burton vs Altavista  Thursday March 7th at 1pm.

         Parry McCluer vs West Point Thursday March 7th at 5pm.

          Radford at Essex Thursday March 7th at 7pm.
