Here are the facts from the N.S.F.
*Insomnia is twice as common in women.
*Women are also more likely to talk to a doctor about the problem.
*Factors that affect women include menstrual cycle, stress level, work hours and other life responsibilities.
A couple of things that might help:
Establish a consistent relaxing "wind-down" bedtime routine
Talking to your doctor about whether you need an over the counter medicine or prescription to help you get rest
