Virginia Tech news release

The Social Development Lab and the Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise at Virginia Tech are seeking 8-to-12-year-old children who spend a lot of their time watching television and/or playing video games or computers and their parents for a study on how children think about body weight, diet, and physical activity.

During a 30-minute visit, you and your child will fill out questionnaires on thoughts about body weight and on diet and physical activity habits.

Parents can receive $20 for participating, and children can receive a $5 gift card.
