Restaurant Review: CiCi's Pizza, Two by Two BBQ, Jalisco Taco, Rancho Viejo

ROANOKE, VA -

This week's restaurant review includes a stop at CiCi's Pizza in Christiansburg, Jalisco Taco in Roanoke, Rancho Viejo in Daleville and Two by Two BBQ in Rocky Mount.

We begin in the NRV at CiCi's Pizza. According to the health department's most recent inspection, the restaurant had 4 violations.

Some of the salad dressing was being held at the wrong temperature, wiping cloths were not being stored properly and there were some issues with the plumbing system.

Next we head to Roanoke to Jalisco Taco. The restaurant had 9 violations on its last inspection. According to that inspection, there was no sanitizer available, some of the food was being held at the wrong temperature and some food wasn't dated.

Rancho Viejo is next on the list. The restaurant is located in Daleville. According to the restaurant's last inspection, there was one violation, involving issues with the temperature of some of the sauces. That violation was corrected during the inspection.

Finally this week we head to Rocky Mount, to Two by Two BBQ. The restaurant had 2 violations on its last inspection. Those include some kitchen knives were being stored in a way that could cause contamination.
