Salem's been knocking on the door for three seasons--and indeed the third time turned out to be the charm. The Lady Spartans got 22 points from Wake Forest bound Tay Taylor and they go on to win their first ever VHSL girls basketball championship.       Kim Migliarese added seven points and 10 rebounds for Salem as the closed with a 26-3 mark.  Tessa Foley added 8 points and 8 boards in the win. Salem ends with 18 straight wins. Janae McNeal had 28 points to lead Courtland, who shot only 27 percent for the game.
