4 State Championship teams return to parades and fireworks

SALEM, VA -

Four local high school basketball teams headed to Richmond as challengers and came back as champions.

Hundreds turned out to cheerfully welcome back the Salem Spartans. Both their boys and girls team took home the state championship title.  The players proudly showed off their winning trophies during a victory parade through Salem Sunday.

"It's pretty crazy. We couldn't be prouder of our boys and the girls too. It's just an amazing thing for Salem and these kids," said Liz Repass who was at the parade.

Salem High School wasn't the only team celebrating a victory today.

Floyd county also held a big homecoming party for the lady Buffs this morning with law enforcement escorting their bus through town.

The Radford boys also made a triumphant return to cake, state championship t-shirts and fireworks!
