Roanoke County leaders are taking steps to pick the design team for the planned new Vinton Public Library.
The Roanoke County Board of Supervisors will receive an update on the process, and may pick a firm to design the library at a workshop session on Tuesday.
It's expected to cost between $8 to $10 million.
Public meetings about the design and build of the new library will start next month.
The county, and the town of Vinton, bought the old Dunman floral building last year, which is where they plan to build the new library.
