Students from three different schools in Lynchburg came together for a hands-on workshop about diversity.
The Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities sponsored 'Diversity Dialogue Day' at Lynchburg College.
This year's theme is 'Safety in Schools.'
The students learned to recognize prejudice, intolerance, and respect for others.
"It's all about the diversity of the community coming together and racism, and bullying has to stop and together we need to accomplish that," Amherst County High School student, Jesse Best, says.
This is the fourth year for the event.
