Hokies Focused on ACC's Second Season

Posted: Updated:

The Hokies are in Greensboro  trying to forget a 13-18 regular season record. Now they are preparing for the ACC tournament--and a level playing field once again.  A this point records don't matter--it's win or go home.  The winning--easier said then done as Virginia Tech will face off against NC State--a team they lost to in overtime earlier this year. Both Coach Johnson and Erick Green point out that the Wolfpack are dangerous because they are deep..and all five players on the court can score the basketball. Jarell Eddie pointed out that they are playing without pressure this week, because everyone expects the 12 seed to lose, so they can just let it all out there on the court. The tip is scheduled for 2pm from the Greensboro Coliseum, with the winner getting the 4 seed--Virginia--on Friday.
