Cool School: Margaret Beeks Elementary - WSLS 10 NBC in Roanoke/Lynchburg Va

The Cool School for Thursday, March 14th is Margaret Beeks Elementary in Blacksburg.
The school recently had a reading project called One Book, One School, encouraging families to read together. All students were given the same book to read. Parts of the book were read in school and parts were read at home. The book read was The World According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney.
After reading the book, the school community came together, holding a Celebration of Humphrey night. Activities included crafts, games, an obstacle course and the hamster dance.
Last night, their was a Father Daughter Dance at the school.
