Boil water notice for some Pinellas County Utilities customers canceled

Posted: Updated:
PINELLAS COUNTY, FL -

Pinellas County officials said that boil water notice is canceled for the Pinellas County Utilities customers who live near McMullen Booth Road.

Authorities say, although they have repaired water main leak at McMullen Booth Road Wednesday night, they issued a precautionary boil water notice for some Pinellas County Utilities customers.

Those affected are in the area south of Sunset Point Road, east of U.S. 19, north of State Road 590 and west of McMullen Booth Road, officials said. This didn't impact businesses and residences in the area that receive their water from the city of Clearwater.

The boil water notice was in place for a little over a day. County officials told us, they tested water and the samples came back clean. The public can now use tap water as usual.
