ST. PETERSBURG, FL (WFLA) -

St. Petersburg Police are looking for a man involved in a shooting last week in St. Petersburg that left a woman dead.

Police said a group of people dropped off Felicia Vickers, 21, with a gunshot wound at Bayfront Medical Center shortly after midnight Friday. Police were able to recover the car used to bring the woman to the hospital. Detectives said Vickers was a passenger in the car with several other people, when they stopped at 535 26 Avenue South to buy drugs.

Morris Vernell Hires III, 18, who stayed at that address, got into an argument with somebody in the car, according to the police report. He took his gun and fired into the car striking Vickers.

Officials say Vickers passed away Friday afternoon. Police are on look out for Hires. He has used names of Antonio Baker and Malcolm Myey. He is five feet seven inches tall, he has a tattoo of the letters MOE in flames on his right forearm.

Hires was staying at the house on 26 Avenue South, but police think he has since left. Hires is considered armed and dangerous. He has been arrested before for carrying a concealed firearm, felony battery, grand theft and auto theft.

So far no arrests have been made, although police have interviewed the other passengers in the car.

If you know anything about Hires' location please contact Detectives Kenneth Miller at 727-892-5916 or the police non-emergency number at 727-893-7780.
