Hamlin-Logano Feud Headlines NASCAR Teardown

Posted: Updated:

As the saying goes, 'time heals all wounds'.

Apply that expression to a half mile of high banked concrete, and in a little age on to that top groove they had ground down last year--and we can finally say what we have wanted to hear since they re-did the bull-ring a few years ago.…

Bristol-- my friends… is back.

The racing was great. We saw our fair share of wrecks and door to door action. And when it was all said and done Kasey Kahne would grab his first win of the year… and the second for Rick Hendrick and team Chevrolet.

While Kahne's win was exciting for him and his fans, that doesn't cut it for your die-hard lovers of the bull ring.

They like drama.

Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano, two former teammates that are now enemies on the race track, gave them just that.  The pair got in to a little scrum after Denny spun Joey while battling for 2nd place in the race.  Logano stormed Hamlin's car when the race was finished and reportedly told Denny "he was coming for him." Denny told the press that he rarely ever sees him so it is not really a problem.

With that said it will be interesting to see what unfolds during this week, and next weekend when the series hits the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.
