MARTINSVILLE, VA -

A company in Martinsville says it's ready to add 100 new employees to its staff -- and the search for those workers gets underway Tuesday.

GSI Commerce is an online retail fulfillment company owned by eBay.  They warehouse, pack, and ship online orders that come in from their clients, many of which are national retailers.

GSI Director of Operations in Martinsville Kim Smith-Glisson says they've been fortunate in that many of their clients are growing and expanding, which in turn means they need to expand to keep up.

GSI is looking for part-time and full-time employees to fill the following positions:

-Pickers

-Packers

-Shippers

-Equipment operators

-Senior leads

-Supervisors

The company is hosting a job fair at their Martinsville office (330 Hollie Drive) Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00am - 5:00pm, where interested parties can apply.  No appointment is necessary.

GSI says it appreciates the support it gets from the community -- so it's happy to turn around and support the community with new jobs.

"There's a great work ethic here," said Smith-Glisson.  "So it's definitely a pleasure to continue our growth opportunities within Martinsville and Henry County."

If you can't make it to the job fair, but are still interested in applying, you can do so online.  Just visit www.ebaycareers.com and search for jobs in Martinsville.

GSI says it will be hiring for the next two to four months.
