High-Tech Home Security Systems now more affordable in our area

ROANOKE, VA -

Home security systems are now more high-tech than ever and becoming more affordable by many local companies in our area.

Recently, more homeowners in our area are choosing to install advanced technology into their homes for more piece of mind when it comes to security.

Roanoke resident Kim Stanley, uses a home security system to keep her family safe. The technology gives her access to email and text alert notifications if someone opens any door in her house. It's also coupled with video and photo capability.

Stanley can control the security system with his smart phone, iPad, or computer. She can also control the lights, thermostats remotely and see real-time video captured by the video camera.

Plus, in the case of extreme emergency, she also gets notifications in the event of a fire, gas leak, or flood.

Kim's system was installed by Cox Communications. Other companies in our area including ADT, Comcast, Associated Alarm & Camera, Best Buy, Vivint Virginia, FrontPoint Security all have  similar security capabilities.
