Last call to register for 2013 Get Healthy Virginia challenge

ROANOKE, VA -

Today's your day to Get Healthy Virginia.

It's the last day for you and your teammates to register for Virginia Amateur Sports' 100 Day Challenge that runs now through July 2. It's about working together and motivating each other to develop a healthy lifestyle.

Nearly a dozen teams, consisting of 2-10 adults have registered so far. They will work together and support their teammates in developing a healthy lifestyle and get more active and physically fit. VAS started the program four years ago. The organization says last year's participants shed 862 pounds and logged more than 46,000 miles of exercise in just 100 days.
