Lexington named Top 20 best small town to visit in 2013

LEXINGTON, VA -

Lexington may see a tourism boost this year.

Smithsonian Magazine named the city one of its "20 best small towns to visit in 2013."

The magazine cites the city's closeness to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Ole Time Music Center, Washington and Lee University, VMI, and strong connections to Civil War history.
