Cool School: Grayson County High School

Posted: Updated:

The Cool School for Thursday, March 28th is Grayson County High School in Independence.

Here are just some of the reasons Grayson County High School is a Cool School:

When a local family's house burned down, the school came together and brought the family clothes, food, and over $1,200 in less than a week.

When a family in need moved to the area, students worked together to gather donations for the family.

During home football games, students brought food donations for the Backpack Food Program.

The school band recently performed at local elementary schools as part of Music in Our Schools Month.

The Honors Choir will present the musical Grease. Performances will be April 59th & 69th at 7 p.m. and March 79th at 3 p.m.  The show is open to the public.  Tickets are only $5.00. You can purchase them at the door.
