A Roanoke County middle school is celebrating raising money for a good cause.
Glenvar Middle school students did the Harlem Shake Thursday afternoon. They've been looking forward to it after raising almost $2,500 dollars for the first ever student-lead Relay for Life event in the Roanoke Valley.
Glenvar students put on fundraisers and walked in the event supporting the American Cancer Society.
"It's an awful disease that unfortunately has impacted staff, students, everyone is touched by it in a negative way and we just want to do all we can" said Corie Franklin, the assistant principal.
The student relay for life event raised more than $22,000.
