The Obama administration is set to unveil a proposal today to clean up gas and auto emissions. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) faces opposition from refiners, who say the new standards will raise prices at the pump.

Pope Francis is set to preside over two Good Friday services today including the traditional way of the Cross Procession at the Colosseum in Rome.

The Salem Museum will host a special exhibit featuring the work of Glenvar High School students. The exhibit opens today and runs through April 25.

Today is the 26th annual Community Easter Egg Hunt for the Challenged in Altavista. Organizers started the event to give kids with physical and mental disabilities a chance to be part of the Easter tradition. The Easter egg hunt is today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at English Park.

Today the Roanoke Business Lounge is hosting a startup readiness workshop.

Partnering with Virginia Knowledge Works, the workshop is aimed at helping entrepreneurs test their business concepts.

Excel Prosthetics in Roanoke will unveil the areas first robotic foot system today.

It's the only prosthetic system that can actually restore lost muscle function of the foot, ankle, and calf for lower leg amputees.

The demonstration is today at 1 p.m.
