TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

The Bornean orangutan family at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo had an "egg"citing morning with the Zoo's annual Orangutan Egg Hunt. The four playful primates enjoyed hard-boiled eggs, baskets, toys and treats throughout the exhibit.

In addition to enjoying the activity, the orangutans benefit from the challenge that offers the animals incentives to explore and interact with their habitat. One of many enrichment activities, this rewarding task helps stimulate the highly intelligent animals, both mentally and physically.
