Pittsylvania County deputies make arrests in copper thefts

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA -

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office says its deputies arrested three South Boston men in connection with a string of copper thefts.

According to Sheriff Mike Taylor, the arrests took place Thursday night, March 28th.  Charged are:

  • Alphonso Blake Robertson Jr., 26: Breaking and entering (2 counts), Grand larceny (2 counts), contempt of court
  • Jamand Ladel Edmonds, 24: Breaking and entering (2 counts), Grand larceny (2 counts)
  • Quentin David Brown, 26: Breaking and entering, grand larceny



Investigators believe the trio broke into, and stole copper from Daniels Electric Motors on Route 29, during the past 6-to-8 weeks.

Additional arrests are expected in the case Sheriff Taylor said.
