Attempted midnight murder in Pasco County

PASCO COUNTY, FL (WFLA) -

Pasco County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating an attempted murder that happened shortly after midnight in Port Richey Tuesday. They said they have arrested a suspect a few hours ago.

Deputies told us, it happened at 7336 Moravian Drive near Embassy Boulevard and Regency Park Boulevard. The preliminary investigation revealed, the attacker broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and tried to stab a man who was in the house with her.

Paramedics took the victim with multiple cuts to a local hospital. Doctors said, his injures are not life-threatening.

Deputies said, the attacker was also injured. He drove off after the fight, deputies caught up with him later. They have him in custody now.
