WorkNet Pinellas recruiters at Universal Health Care office job fair

Posted: Updated:
ST PETERSBURG -

WorkNet Pinellas participated at an onsite job fair at Universal Health Care St. Petersburg headquarters March 28th.

WorkNet business service recruiters came to the fair to connect with the employees UHC laid off a week ago. The recruiters provided the information on the services they have to offer to those in search of a job.

The helpful services include access to computers and internet, resume writing and interview preparation, job referrals and placement assistance.

"WorkNet is trying to ease the transition of these employees from actively working to seeking employment," said Edward Peachey, President and CEO of WorkNet Pinellas.

The job fair took place despite the FBI morning raid at the building last week. The federal agents ordered employees out and searched their offices helping US Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Inspector General. Agents didn't specify what they were looking for in the building.
