According to detectives, at about 11:45 p.m. on March 27 a suspect can be seen on surveillance video prior to the robbery, crouched down outside the store entrance.

After waking into the store, detectives say, the suspect pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect left the scene on foot.

In another instance, this time on April 2 at around 8:15 p.m., deputies say a black male entered the same store and motioned he had a gun in his sweatshirt and demanded money. The suspect fled after the clerk gave handed him an undisclosed amount of cash.  In this case, deputies say a white, mid-size, late model, four door vehicle was seen leaving the area. However, detectives are not sure if this vehicle is related to the robbery.

The suspect in the second robbery is described as a black male, approximately 18 - 25 years of age, average build, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with a black design, khaki shorts and black and white tennis shoes.

Detectives are investigating to see if these incidents are related and if it is the same person. Detectives do believe the suspect is familiar with this geographical area.
