Destination America crews are headed to Roanoke to feature a local restaurant.
Blues BBQ on the market in downtown Roanoke will be one of the show's stops on its way to Martinsville for the big race this weekend.
One of the more popular shows for Destination America is the BBQ Pitmasters series.
Blues BBQ owner Patrick Maggi explains what makes his barbeque so special.
He says,"We smoke everything in house and it is done with the love. It is all about the love, the spice blends compliment each other. There is not too much smoke, not too much salt, not too much spice. We use just the right amount of everything."
Maggi will also participate in a pizza making competition in Italy April 15th and 16th.
