ROANOKE, VA -

16 West Marketplace in downtown Roanoke is seeing customer traffic pick up, as new businesses and vendors move in.

Amelia Glacer, who is the co-owner of S&W Market and Cork and Crust, says it has been great watching the marketplace gain momentum.

"It is exciting. We're seeing about 5 to 10 new customers come in each day," said Glacer.

The marketplace includes 8 businesses, Barefoot Studios, Cafe 16, CORE Chiropractic, Cork & Crust, Crossings Christian Church, Learning Source, S & W Market and RAC Xpress Gym.

Glacer said there is room to grow with additional space for lease.

"People are showing interest, and we are looking forward to bringing something in like retail or food, something along that line," said Glacer.
