5 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tsp oil
1 flour tortilla wrap
1 tomato, diced
2 bell peppers, one red one green, sliced into strips
Blackening seasoning (cayenne pepper, chili pepper, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, ground oregano)
For the ranch sauce:
1 packet of ranch dressing mix, mixed according to directions
2 tbsp of hot sauce
In a hot skillet, add oil and wait for white smoke to just barely appear. While waiting, toss the shrimp in the seasoning and then add them to the pan. Add the peppers to the pan and saute with the shrimp until cooked through and the seasoning begins to darken. This is blackening and it works great for seafood and chicken! After the shrimp are cooked, warm the tortilla in the microwave for 10 seconds until softened. Top with lettuce, tomato, and peppers.
Combine the ranch dressing as directed and mix in as much hot sauce as you can stand! Top the wrap with sauce. Fold the edges toward the center and begin to roll the wrap until all ingredients are tucked inside. Slice in half and enjoy!
