Radford Police arrest 3 in robbery

On Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at approximately 4:30 p.m., detectives with the Radford City Police Department were in the area of the 1100 block of Calhoun Street investigating an unrelated matter when they observed a male exit a dark colored Jeep Cherokee with obvious signs of an assault.

Upon approach of the victim, he stated he had been robbed by the occupants of the vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene as detectives put out the vehicle's information to patrol officers over the radio.  The vehicle was pulled over by Radford City Patrol Officers and detectives in the 600 block of Howe Street in the City of Radford.

The investigation led to the following charges against the below listed subjects:

Lamonte Devon Harrison, age 21 - of Riner VA.

He has been charged with the following:

18.2-58-Robbery

18.2-Consipracey to rob

 

Malcolm Jamal Stanton, age 23 - of Christiansburg VA.

He has been charged with the following:

18.2-58-Robbery

18.2-Consipracey to rob

 

Both are being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail on no bond. 

An unnamed juvenile was also involved and charged with the same charges as above, he is being held at the New River Valley Detention Center in Christiansburg.
