Thomas Throws Three Picks In Spring Game

Posted: Updated:

The Hokies first team was a confident bunch going in to this year's annual spring game spotting the White Team 13 points before the ball was ever kicked off.

That plan backfired as red shirt Sr. quarterback Logan Thomas threw 3 interceptions two of which were returned for touchdowns.

The run game wasn't impressive either for the Hokies orange first team squad.  Michael Holmes ran the ball 7 times for 24 yards and Trey Edmunds had 8 touches for a total of 11 yards.

Mark Leal played the role of backup to Logan Thomas today and had the only touchdown for the orange team when he found Ryan Malleck for six points.
