Posted: Updated:

North Carolina Pick 4 lottery players who bet on the number "2" won more than $7 million in Saturday night's drawing.

Lottery officials said there were 933 $1 tickets which picked 2-2-2-2. They win the top prize of $5,000. Another 1,118 50-cent tickets win $2,500 each.

Winners have 180 days to collect prizes.

The lottery says the odds of matching all four numbers in the Pick 4 drawing are 1 in 10,000.

Lottery offices are closed on Sundays, but prizes can be claimed beginning Monday at one of the lottery's regional offices. The offices open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.

The lottery reminds winners they must bring a Photo ID and proof of their Social Security number to complete their claims. Prizes can also be claimed by mail.
