ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. -

A North Carolina Wesleyan College student, 22-year-old Matthew Price, was arrested after Rocky Mount police responded to an early morning incident in a residence hall there.

Police were called to the campus in the early morning hours Monday after fellow residents reported Price was causing a disturbance.

When officers arrived, they found Price, who appeared to be intoxicated and was making threats.

Officers searched Price's dorm room and car. They found weapons in his vehicle, alcohol in the dorm room and racial slurs posted on his wall.

Price was charged with multiple felonies, including three counts of felony possession of a firearm on educational property. Price is not allowed to return to campus.

Price has since bonded out of jail. WNCN visited his Stantonsburg home, but those inside refused to answer the door.
