A former Wayne County assistant superintendent of auxiliary services is now facing charges for unlawfully accepting gifts.
Donald Sprunt Hill, 61, of Mt. Olive, is facing charges for unlawfully accepting gifts and/or favors from contractors or suppliers from his time at Wayne County Public Schools between July 2007 and June 2009.
Hill retired at the end of 2010 after 32 years working in the district.
Hill's court date is set for April 30 in Wayne County.
