RADFORD, VA -

A Radford man faces multiple methamphetamine related charges.

The Radford Police Department says some of its officers, along with members of the Claytor Lake Regional Drug Task Force, raided a home in the 600 block of Bolling Street in Radford on Wednesday, April 24th.

Officers say they found multiple items used to make meth, and arrested 50-year-old Charles Allen Custer Jr., of Radford.

Custer faces four charges:

  1. Manufacture 28 grams or more and less than 227 grams of methamphetamine
  2. Possess two or more precursors (hydrochloric acid and pseudoephedrine)
  3. Possession of a Schedule II (methamphetamine)
  4. Possess 20 grams or more but less than 28 grams of a mixture containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine


Custer is being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail without bond.
