Two guns were recovered at Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville Friday morning, according to police and sheriff deputies.
Fayetteville police went to the school to arrest Angel Dickerson, 18, on an outstanding warrant for common law robbery. When they searched his vehicle, officers found a shotgun which they believe was used in a recent crime.
During the time of Dickerson's arrest, 18-year-old Paul Algarin, Jr. was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot.
Deputies and school administrators also searched Algarin's vehicle and found a Ruger 380 under the front seat. The firearm had been reported stolen from the Lumberton Police Department.
Algarin is facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon, possessing a firearm on school property, trespassing and possessing a stolen weapon.
