President Obama has yet to sign a bill into law today. The Senate passed a fix to end the FAA furloughs caused by the sequester but the Senate needs to re-do the legislation first to fix typos before the President can sign it.

Neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman will be in court this morning for what should be the last hearing before his trial begins.Jury selection for Zimmerman who is charged with killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, begins June 10.

Testimony is expected to begin Tuesday in the trial of the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Michael Jackson's mother against concert promoter AEG Live. The defense is saying Jackson hid "his deepest, darkest secrets" and the firm wasn't aware he was using the powerful anesthetic propofol.

The Region 2000 Workforce Center is having a health careers job fair today from noon to 4:00 p.m.. It's taking place on the lower level of "The Plaza" in Lynchburg.

VDOT will hold a design public hearing on a proposed project on Route 711 over Norfolk Southern Railroad in Campbell County tonight. It's taking place from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Altavista Train Station.

The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation will have a public meeting tonight about the development of a water quality improvement plan for Cripple Creek in Smyth and Wythe Counties. You can ask questions at the meeting from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Speedwell Elementary.

Salem City Council and the school board will have a joint meeting today and get recommendations from the school safety review committee. They'll also tour the new, South Salem School tonight starting at 6:00.
