FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -
Fayetteville police are searching for a suspect that is believed to be involved in a shooting Tuesday afternoon. 

Police are looking for 24-year-old Brandon Legrant Strickland of St. Pauls. Strickland is wanted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and firearm by felon.

Strickland is a black male, standing five feet six inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has dreadlocks and several tattoos on his body.  He is considered armed and dangerous.  Anyone who knows of Strickland's whereabouts is urged to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at (910) 323-1500.

Strickland is said by police to have shot 25-year-old Juwaan Bullock during a domestic dispute.

Bullock was shot in the abdomen and later transported  to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment. He was last listed in stable condition.
