92-year-old Roanoke man charged with fighting police officer in Salem

A 92-year-old patient in a Salem health and rehabilitation center has been charged with beating up another patient and trying to fight a police officer.

Salem police charged Robert Tolliver with several crimes in relation to the fight with the other patient and the officer, including breaking the officer's flashlight.

No one was seriously hurt.

No trial date has been set.

Tolliver is listed on the arrest warrants as having a Roanoke address.
