We're always looking for new ways to connect to our friends and family and now smart phones are making it even easier to keep in touch.

Now, there's even a new smart-phone app that lets people compete by singing against each other.

If you have the urge to karaoke . you can now just pull out your smart phone and play 'Just Sing It.'

You choose a music category between rock. hip hop. and pop.

Then you can pick an easy medium or hard song to sing.

You can even post your song on Twitter or Facebook, but it's more than just that, you play with your friends or random people across the globe and try to guess what each other is singing.

"It's a great way to show off your talent and just by having a cell phone, an iPhone all you need to do is download the app and start singing and get a very interesting followings that sing back to you," Just Sing It, CEO Alec Andronikov says.

CEO Alec Andronikov since the app launched a few weeks ago, more 500,000 songs have been sung and it's reached number one in the app store's music category
