A few hundred people hit the pavement in Roanoke Saturday morning to help cure MS.
The walks started and ended at First Presbyterian Church. It's one of 23 walks each year for the Blue Ridge Chapter.
More than 6,000 people in the region are affect by the neuromuscular disease.
"Knowing that this is for the research and people that have been battling the disease, and for me, why not volunteer for someone that's helping me to get better" said Katina Holloway, with the Blue Ridge MS chapter.
More than $35,000 has been raised so far.
