Man dead after shooting, car crash in Henderson

HENDERSON, N.C. -

Henderson police are investigating the apparent murder of a man found dead in a car Saturday night.

Police say they went to the 100 block Lincoln Street to investigate reports of shots fired and a car crash shortly before 9 p.m. 

They found Ladarrius Talley, 25, of Manson, N.C., inside the car with a bullet wound.  They say Talley's car had crashed into a brick pillar and fence before stopping.

Emergency workers declared Talley dead at the scene.

Police say an autopsy will be performed Monday.
